Sofia is the student who made Little Prodigies Academy necessary. She has been building, competing, and winning in STEAM since she was seven years old — long before most programs at her level existed for kids her age. Her team qualified for the FLL World Championship, placed second at the FLL Challenge, and took fourth place at the FLL BC and Yukon Regional Championship. Her ExploraVision project earned top 10 recognition across North America. She is fourteen, in Grade 9, and her record already outpaces what most students achieve in a full high school career. Sofia does not just complete projects — she leads them, presents them, and wins with them.

Artificial Cloud System (ACS)

The ACS is an innovative, forward-thinking firefighting solution that draws creative inspiration from nature and the intelligent ways local wildlife utilize natural resources. Designed to tackle modern environmental challenges, the project seamlessly merges ecological insights with advanced technology. At its core, the system relies on a dual-component drone framework that maximizes efficiency through collaborative action. The system utilizes "Mother Drones," which are specifically tasked with active firefighting and putting out blazes, working in direct conjunction with "Cloudlets" that provide vital, real-time data collection and essential operational support to the Mother Drones

FLL World Championship Qualifier

Sofia and her team placed second at the FLL Challenge competition, earning an invitation to the FLL World Championship and representing BC and Canada. Their out-of-the-box approach to the robotics project impressed the judges enough to qualify at a national level — a distinction only a handful of teams in the country receive each season.
